@joy.musa1: Update by police on Paul Danan's death and say they are not treating tragic discovery as suspicious #PaulDanan #fyp #TikTok Paul Danan olice today confirmed that the death of Hollyoaks star Paul Danan is not being treated as suspicious.  The actor shot to fame as Sol Patrick on the Channel 4 soap and was later known for his stints on Celebrity Big Brother and Celebrity Love Island. He had been due to appear for a plea hearing at Warrington Magistrates' Court in Cheshire today after being charged with being in possession of several bags of cocaine and a 'quantity' of cannabis, according to court documents.  Providing an update this afternoon, Avon and Somerset Police said: 'Officers attended a property in Brislington, Bristol, at around 5.20pm Wednesday where sadly a man in his 40s was declared deceased by paramedics. 'His family have been notified and our thoughts are with them. They have asked for people to respect their privacy during this incredibly difficult time.  'His death is not being treated as suspicious and officers are preparing a file for the coroner.'   Danan - praised on Thursday as a 'beacon of light' - was also accused of driving a blue Fiat 500 whilst under the influence of drugs on October 2 last year in Warrington. It comes weeks after Danan told MailOnline in his final interview how he struggled to get acting work so worked in a phone repair shop to get by after leaving Hollyoaks.  Hmmm, he was supposed to appear in court yesterday on dr*g charges, so sad.
