Happened with my Cadillac last year. Few months ago I forced myself to start working it again, ordered a bunch of parts and interest slowly came back. Just drove it for the first time yesterday

I've had my 51 Ford shoebox for 10 years now... lost interest in her 8 years ago. Had a small bump in interest last year but haven't had the time and energy at the same time to work on her 😢
