I have ADHD- I work in healthcare and people tell me I explain things and think of ways to help people that they have never seen before. I am learning to trust my intuition. Great message.

As someone with ADHD, I was wondering why your videos were the only thing really clicking for me in nursing school. It finally makes sense. Thank you for sharing your mind!!!

This is great Dr Mike. I appreciate you sharing because I am an adult who was diagnosed with ADHD this year. When I figured that out, my mania and procrastination with tasks made so much more sense. I’d love for you to share more with us, especially since I’m in college for the first time and trying to learn the best ways for me to learn. Thanks for everything you do!

Thanks Dr Mike for sharing this. Definitely agree with the 'deficit' it's really not.
Pretty sure my husband is undiagnosed and it's good to learn ways I might be able to help him. ❤️❤️❤️

I use a timer for everything! Not sure I have ADHD but I can focus for about 40 mins, then my mind begins to wander. So I set it for 40, do the task (no interruptions like text, email, ringing phone) then I take a 15 min “break” and by break, I mean throwing in a load of laundry, loading the dishwasher, cleaning out a drawer, scrubbing the shower, taking out trash, etc. it always shocks me how much I can get done when I only have 15 mins. This 40/15 plan got me through grad school and I still do it daily when I have a task to complete.

😂I have undiagnosed ADHD . I think if I write the to do list before bed, I probably will end up over thinking whole night. plus I love my super power in super fixation which help me get things done. lol 🤣 I am psychologist I suppose every ADD er is different...But I will use the term attention allocation in my therapy as well 😜 Thanks Dr. Mike....

All makes perfect sense! The 20 minute timer is a great idea and focusing on your talents instead of blocking your mind with negative thoughts. Thanks ☮️
