100% great advice! It’s tough to not allow your own thoughts to creep in mid performance but doing so can drastically shift the performance and not always for the better. It messes with the flow.

I wonder how much the no directing rule applies when studying a scene... All of those attempts at understanding a complex scene can get confusing, but you need to get the scene.
