Unboxing & first walk in the Nike Mind 002 - Light Smoke Grey / Photon Dust / Hyper Crimson / Chrome 👟. I refreshed the Nike UK app at the launch time of 08:00 on Thursday, the grey pair didn’t appear but the black pair did. I managed to get to the checkout and proceed with the transaction - once I thought I’d secured them a message popped on screen saying something like “we’ll let you know in a moment if you were successful”, followed very shortly afterwards by “You weren’t selected. You’re welcome to try and buy Nike Mind 002 again. Your card won’t be charged unless we complete your order”. The grey (my preference) still weren’t showing for me, so I opened an internet browser window and headed to the Nike UK website that way - there were sizes showing in the grey so I bought a UK13 and went through the checkout without any issues. A couple of minutes later I checked again and they were sold out in all but some really small sizes. They then immediately started popping up on reseller websites (which really annoys me, tbh!) 😡 This is the second release from Nike’s Mind Science Department, following the success of the equally-as-hyped Mind 001 Pre-game Mule a month or so back - built around neuroscience-informed sensory design to help you feel calm, present, and locked-in before game time. Tech highlights: • 22 independently articulated foam nodes underfoot • Targets key pressure points as you move • Designed to enhance mind–body awareness I’ve had them on all day today whilst I’ve been out - I enjoy how they feel, but I’m not yet sure whether I’m feeling enhanced kind-body awareness 😊 What are we saying… 🔥🔥 or ❄️❄️? #r#Runningr#runnerr#runliferunningmotivation #nikemind
