You cannot reverse recession!!! You can prevent it from getting worse with gentle brushing and regular hygiene cleanings.

My dentist says it’s caused by clenching my teeth when I sleep. Can gum recession caused by that be reversed? I already wear a night guard and it’s still happening.

As a dental hygienist, gum recession is not reversible unless you see a periodontist for further surgery. Periodontal pockets can get better but gums and bone will not grow back.
