@eatingwithegg: We tried the viral boat noodle in Bangkok! @THONGSMITH really blew up in the recent years. I can see why this comparably more upmarket boat noodle is so popular. A solid broth, clean environment, premium ingredient and accessible location is a winning formula. We ordered one with australian wagyu, and two different types of noodle. We preferred the original rice noodle as the the flat rice noodle was alot more clumpy. The broth was robust, rich, savoury with hint of garlic. Be warned that at spicy level 1, it's already pretty spicy. I think being seasoned with cow's blood made it even more complex. Khanom Thuai, a classic thai dessert, was the perfect post-meal dessert.
