french toast (recipe below)! 🫐🍋🍞🌿 ingredients: 4 thick slices brioche bread 3 eggs 1/2 cup milk of choice 1 tsp vanilla 1/4 cup honey pinch salt 6 cups crushed cornflakes ~1/4 cup butter for cooking cheesecake spread- 12 oz softened cream cheese 1/2 cup greek yogurt 3/4 cup melted white chocolate 2 Tbsp lime juice 2 tsp lime zest 1/4 cup honey pinch salt extras- 1 cup blueberry jam blackberries, blueberries, and lime wedges powdered sugar & honey for drizzling 1. for the cheesecake spread, stir together the ingredients and set aside while preparing the toast. 2. whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla, honey, and salt. carefully cut a slit into each slice of brioche and fill with blueberry jam and fresh berries. press the bread to enclose the stuffing. 3. dip each slice of brioche well into the custard mixture and then coat in crushed cornflakes. melt ~2 Tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium, high heat. cook the toasts 2-3 minutes per side or until golden brown and crispy. 4. serve the toasts with the cheesecake spread and fresh berries. top with powdered sugar and a drizzle of honey. enjoy :) #frenchtoast #Recipe #cooking #food #brunch #brunchathome #brioche #cheesecake #breakfastideas #recipe
