The normal thing if it happens is to either hold an election or someone gives up their seat so they can hold a by-election in the riding. There has to be an Acting PM in parliament until the leader…

I don’t think you even have to have a seat if you’re a cabinet minister. It just means they can’t vote or address parliament unless invited. Unless I’m stuck way in the past. Anyone know?
