One common issue when establishing a new lawn is cutting too high, which can lead to trouble down the track. The first step here was to gradually lower the cutting height over time, essentially taking a step back before moving forward with a proper renovation during the growing season. Eight weeks ago, with perfect weather conditions, the renovation process began. A low cut, aeration, topdressing to level the surface, and a tailored fertiliser program. Since then, regular mowing twice a week along with the timing of product applications have turned this Zoysia lawn around.
