Paris is always pretty, but definitely prettier on a sunny day. So here are some of my favorite things to do on a sunny day in Paris: Best activities: - Go to Folderol with friends, grab their olive oil ice cream and a glass of dry white wine and sit on the street, while admiring the stylish crowd. - Grab a frozen margarita to-go from Candeleira and walk to a park nearby (or by the seine) to sit down and enjoy it. Warning you might finish it before you get there. - Go to fondation Louis Vuitton if there is a nice exhibition and then treat your inner child in the amusement park (jardin d’acclimation) right next to it. - Go to one of the parks in Paris or by the Seine (whichever you love the most, personally I love tuileries, or buttes-chaumont) and set a sunset picnic. - Go find a roof that you can access to enjoy the infamous roof views of Paris with a bottle of wine. - Take a stroll in Jardin du Palais royale and catch the dancers right outside the entrance of the park. - Go to Ile Saint Louis and choose a terrace to sit and enjoy the overpriced wine, I promise the romanticised Paris vibes are worth it. - Go to the gardens of Musée Rodin. - Walk around the city but especially by the Seine to enjoy the musicians’ tunes. - Grab coffee at Partisan, and people watch;) - If it’s a weekday, go up to Montmartre to avoid the crowds but still get romantic sunny Paris cliché moment! - Have ice cream from Bachir! Best terraces: - Fabula: Good to chill with some drinks, set in the courtyard of Musée Carnavalet. (4th) - Bambou: Spacious terrace, great Thai food. (2nd) - Derriere or Andy Wahoo: Either for a cute dinner or some cocktails in a super cute courtyard setting. (3rd) - Ralphs: Worth it for the cute atmosphere, although overpriced. (6th) - Café Charlot or Le Progrès: Good for casual drinks with good vibes (3rd) - Scilicet: Good for grabbing drinks with friends around sunset, by the Seine. (1st) - Hoxton: Great for anything, but especially remote working (2nd) Bonus: If you’re motivated you can hop on a train and actually leave Paris for Giverny to explore Monet’s garden. It only takes 50 minutes 😉 #paris #parisguide
