it's always good to remove a collar when they're not being walked and are going to be unattended. ive seen several stories of dogs catching themselves on collars or strangling

We had 2 of our girls playing & one of them got her mouth stuck on the other’s collar & they couldn’t get unstuck - one was choking & the other was in pain. We cut the collar off & they are ok. ✅
