I went to South Africa and I caught someone labeling me as the “Colored American girl”. I got offended but then in a sense I got it and let it go. But I totally understand what youre saying. 🎯🎯

You’re wrong. That label is for MIXED people in African countries like me 💀 in SA they’re multiracial while others aren’t even that mixed. Some coloureds are literally full Malaysians by descent so they wouldn’t be called black. Some of them you’d mistake for Latinos cause they look mestizo 💀 and others you’d mistake for Indians (Tyla is mostly Indian). Coloured in the US later on turned into “people of colour”

Not really because in South Africa a black person has purely black DNA whereas a coulred is a mixture of different races like black and white, black and Indians, Indians and whites.
