@nolandanielwhite: Skiing Japan for the first time - blown away by how much snow they get. Unfortunately I don’t have any clips from when we FIRST got into the deep powder on day 1, as I was just trying to stay afloat. Most of these clips are from later in the day. The trees are far more spaced out compared to the coniferous glades in Western Canada, and generally the pitch wasn’t quite as steep. Far more snowboarders than skiers, especially off piste, meaning the powder got cut up a bit different than I’m used to. Regardless, tons of fun to ski, would absolutely recommend.
