It’s not a good system. There’s been many cases where these landlords could not give back the initial deposit which basically empty’s out a person or family’s savings. It’s all a big housing bubble

The system is based on increasing value. The owners use the deposits to buy another property. If over leverage, the system can fail unless the renters add insurance which limits options. Risky.
