Location also matters. I live in Toronto and that would probably be around $130-$150 Canadian or nearly $200 usd 😭

Yeah their one bag of chips in the video is like $8. It’s what they’re buying.

The only time I’ve ever spent $200 on a grocery trip is when I’ve managed to run out of detergents, olive oil, cat litter and coffee at the same time 😂😂😂

$200 for a week for one person??? I don’t spend that much weekly when my kid is home on holiday/summer break. What did she buy 😩

I saw a lot of organic products and fancy drinks… if you’re truly in a budget, you give up optional things or find replacements

I’m so tired of people complaining about produce being too expensive and then blowing half their budget on boxes of snacks

Hi just a passer by. If you don’t know already ginger keeps really well in the freezer. I just grate on a micro plane from frozen. This way I always have it on hand. Love your meal plan/haul

I just shopped for our family of 6 and spent $140 for the week! It helps to “shop” your pantry and freezer every week before shopping and meal plan.

That much chicken in Canada would easily cost $25 maybe $20 if you catch a sale

I used to make a bunch of instacart accounts and whenever I don't place an order for a while, they send promos like $30 off $50. I just use that to pick up groceries to avoid fees and tipping😭

It definitely is a skill to shop. I grew up shopping with my mom every weekend and it set me up for life

Two things can be right at once. Groceries are pricy. But people also don’t make a plan or execute shopping well.

In Canada that would be around $140-$160 depending where you shop. The chicken, eggs and avocado oil costs a pretty penny up here 😅

I understand why people think 'they just need to shop better," but the real problem is why we have to 'shop better' in the first place. people should be able to get chips/snacks and not go broke

You’ve really inspired me to start really budgeting our grocery bill! I spend easily twice this on my wife and I per week and it stresses me out to so much I know we have to be wasting so much!
