@sophiemariecurly: if you experience these curly styling problems ❌you need to be curl stacking! ✅ 💬 this just means: making sure you’re styling 3D not 2D. Even if you have lower dentisty/ less hair to stack you will still benefit from styling your curls with curl stacking in mind and layering the hair ❌Styling 2 dimensional on 1 singular layer will cause you to experience flatter roots, less depth and may cause a mess as you see in the video. You can do all of this with your hands. If you’re tempted to to use a brush like you see in the beginning clip for more bouncy clumps you can still do that but ensure you rake from your roots afterwards to create dimension in the hair. If you’re styling soaking wet you’re less likely to experience stringy curls as a result. ❓I applied my leave in cream before curl stacking and then applied my gel as you see in the video before flipping my hair up! 💌 I hope this helped!
