I don’t disagree re: dinner parties but as someone who did a lot of hosting and never got invited to anything because other people don’t host— eventually you just feel used and stop.

Totally agree in offline hobbies! I’ve been dabbling in gardening, fly fishing and stamp collecting. I’ve met the BEST people through hobbies that I wouldn’t never have crossed paths otherwise

I started tango dancing and taking classes last year (they are so cheap too) and it was the BEST decision ever. The friends and community I got out of it, priceless

definitely try knitting!!! i started two years ago and never looked back. i was worried it would be wayyy too complicated but its actually not that bad and sm fun (and you get beautiful sweaters!)
