go bots where made out of more metal parts and there was a cartoon after transformers came out they seemed cooler put as a kid I had both and some generic robot toys

I had a lot of Gobots to fill in my Transformer ranks and substitute the characters I didn’t have. Leader-1 was my “Starscream.” 🤣

GoBots had a good steady half and half when it came to vehicle and robot Transformers it was either the vehicle that suffered or the robot that suffered like ratchet and Ironhide

Loved the Go-Bots, for a time even more than the Transformers. The quick change to robot to vehicle made for better storytelling.
