I’ll constantly keep sharing the message that you don’t need the latest and greatest camera gear to get started with photography and produce some great images! 😊 When you’re getting started, don’t worry so much about the camera body. Focus on getting any interchangeable lens camera that can shoot in RAW and fits your budget. Then it’s time to get out there, take lots of photos and practice as much as you can. After you’re comfortable with that you can upgrade your lens which will make such a massive difference! You can get some fantastic and affordable secondhand gear like I did with my $195 USD ($300 AUD) Canon 70D. And it also came with the Canon 18-55mm kit lens and the Canon 50mm f1.8. Both are great to get started with and then I recently upgraded to the Sigma 18-35mm f1.8 which is absolutely amazing 🤩 So anyone out there on a Canon APS-C EF system, I highly recommend the Sigma 18-35mm f1.8 and the Sigma 30mm f1.4 if you’re looking for 2 lenses for almost every situation 👍 Now it’s time to get out there, use whatever gear you have (or buy something that fits whatever budget you have), and just enjoy practicing and developing your photography skills!
