@adventuresofpilot: He’s been struggling with nonstop ear infections for months and NOTHING has helped. He’s resistant to the two medications we’ve been prescribed and his ears aren’t getting any better. His ears are kept dry, we trim the hair to help with build up, and clean them with an ear flush but it just won’t give! Any tips??!!! #vetmed #veterinarian #vettech #vettok #vetlife #goldenretriever #dogears #goldenretriever #goldenretrieverlife #goldensoftiktok #goldensofinstagram #goldenretrieverpuppy #goldenretrieversoftiktok #earinfection #medicine #medtok #doctorsoftiktok
My golden doodle has bad ear infections. We just found finger ear wipes where you gently wipe their inside their ears. It’s only been a week but we have already seen a huge difference

My golden had recurring ear infections. He was given a Cytopoint shot, & since then, he hasn’t had any issues. It might’ve been seasonal allergies causing the flare-ups, but the Cytopoint helped him☺️

My golden had the same issue due to a chicken allergy! Even if you are feeding non chicken kibble be sure to check the labels of everything you give them. Many treats, vitamins, food, etc. that are1/2

it may be allergy related! does he take any allergy medications? Cytopoint works wonders! Also having them on an “exotic” protein such as lamb or white fish can help with the allergy’s :)

Yes!! I switched mine to Forza10 Nutraceutic Active Line OTO Support Diet Dry Dog Food. He was getting chronic yeast infections that smelled like vinegar and constant digging at his ears and licking.

We did these laser light treatments at the vet, after multiple rounds it seemed to help. Our dog was also resistant to ear meds

Allergy shots. Hypoallergenic food. Cleaning the ears regularly (our vet gives us a special solution). Making sure you dry their ears really really well after baths.

On my golden I have to keep the hair underneath the ear (under ear flap and under the flap close to the ear and around the ear) trimmed short to allow airflow and he hasn’t had one since I started having my groomer doing that. They use a thinning shear to blend the short hair in & under the ear flap back into the longer fur.
