@pfenningsfarm: Welcome to our main warehouse! Have a peek #BehindTheScenes with us 😊 The humble heritage of our warehouse can still be seen in some areas. It started out as a barn, 100+ years ago. Isn't that stonework just beautiful? (Watch for it) Fresh produce is on a timeline from the moment it's harvested, and proper storage is of utmost importance! Different items have different needs, and we must do our best to meet those needs. We have many areas with their own temperatures, humidity levels and ventilation optimized for the particular items they house. And we house a lot! Some like it cold - apples, oranges, berries for example. Others (like basil, avocado or tomato) become unusable when they're too cold, so they need a warm (but not too warm) place. Some items need more air flow, and fans provide this. Potatoes like to dwell in darkness.
