You don’t want to explain everything. Or maybe you’re afraid that if you finally admit how you really feel, you’ll fall apart and won’t know how to put yourself back together. But sis… You don’t have to pretend with God. ❤️ He already knows. He knows about the tears you wiped away before anyone could see them. He knows about the prayers you couldn’t even finish because you were too overwhelmed to find the words. He knows the battles you haven’t told anyone about. And here’s the beautiful part… He still loves you. You don’t have to clean yourself up before you come to Him. You don’t have to have the right words. You don’t have to pretend you’re strong. You can come to God exactly as you are. Tired. Confused. Heartbroken. Overwhelmed. Scared. And say: “Lord, I need You.” Sometimes the strongest thing you can do isn’t pretending that you have it all together. Sometimes strength looks like surrender. Sometimes faith looks like crying while still saying, “God, I trust You.” Sometimes healing begins when you finally stop hiding the pain and give it to the One who can actually carry it. So if nobody has told you this lately… You are allowed to not be okay. You are allowed to rest. You are allowed to cry. You are allowed to ask for help. You are allowed to admit that this season is hard. And you are allowed to take it one day at a time. God isn’t disappointed in you because you’re struggling. He is near to the brokenhearted. ❤️ So tonight, instead of telling God, “I’m fine,” tell Him the truth. Tell Him what hurts. Tell Him what scares you. Tell Him what you’re tired of carrying. Give Him the things you’ve been trying so hard to handle by yourself. Because the same God who carried you through every season you thought would break you… is still carrying you now. 🙏🏽 And sis, please remember this: You may feel like you’re barely holding on, but God has never let go of you.
