ah yes the most misunderstood puzzle: -There are two doors -the rules are written, not spoken -you can ask only one question -one door leads to death, the other to your destination so no, you can't ask them if the sky is blue or if 1+1=2. that's wasting your one question

To solve the riddle ask them: what door will you be telling me is the right door in 5 seconds. The liar will lie about is lie and negate it and the truth teller will tell you the truth.
