This is Simba. ❤️ As a tiny kitten, Simba went through something no living being should ever have to endure. A small child tried to rip his head off while he was still alive. Instead of protecting him, this helpless little kitten was simply left in a hallway, abandoned and left to whatever fate had in store for him—as if his life didn’t matter. Alone. Terrified. Completely defenseless. It’s unimaginable that such a small, innocent soul had to experience so much cruelty. And yet, Simba never lost something that many would after such trauma: his ability to love and trust. While treating Simba, I could feel just how much love he has to give. Despite everything that was done to him at such a young age, he still chooses to trust people. I found myself crying during his treatment. Not because I felt sorry for Simba, but because he touched my heart. He reminded me that love can survive even the deepest wounds.
