the quicker way is to hit the Q button, scroll to the flash section and use the scroll thing to switch to ttl mode which will have the flash on. i’ve never messed w the shutter type for that

there is an easier way! set your shutter to es+ms by default so you don’t have to change it back and forth - and when you want to turn on flash, use the quick menu. it’s there by default
