@buffwriters: This Olivetti Underwood Studio 44 came to me unexpectedly. I had put in a bid for it on Goodwill that I thought was extremely low, but no one else seemed to want it. I remember getting the notification that I had one and was shocked. Other than the heaviness of the carriage (which could just be my machine) and the small round keys, this is a good typer. I’ve put pages and pages into it, and it only ever fails when I fail first.
