cats always sleep halfway so they can sense the danger when they are asleep. but kittens still haven't developed that instinct that's why they sleep all the way through. adult cats can do the same

its called REM sleep and its deep. most cats don't rem sleep unless they r in a place that they trust to be safe 🥰
