I preheat my oven on the stovetop a little. Pour it directly in the pan and add the seasonings on top if you want to save the bowl (I’ve done it both ways, tastes the same).

Heat the skillet with the oil in the oven first for 10-15 mins to get it nice and hot. It will make the crust crispy :)

try getting the pan hottttt first and less oil, also maybe add a little flour to the discard.
