Katy, our 3-month-old baby was very similar. He used to fall asleep while my wife fed him every three hours during the night. Since watching this video last Monday, I have taken over his nighttime care. My wife gives him his last feed at around 6:00 p.m., and then we put him in the crib while he is still a little drowsy. The first night he showed some resistance, but with white noise and a red light, he managed to sleep until 12:45 a.m. With a little help, he then went back to sleep for another three hours. When he woke up around 5:30 a.m., my wife fed him. So he was able to go through the whole night without a feed. I have been doing this for the past four nights, and there have been no nighttime feedings at all. Last night, when he woke up around 1:00 a.m., he was able to go back to sleep by sucking his hands, along with some white noise and the red light. He is still sleeping now. My issues is that I have an 8 month old who goes to sleep at 7pm with no problems, but wakes up at 12, 2, and 5 to eat. She refuses to eat more during the day, so I don’t know what to do 🙃

The problem for us starts at bedtime when we try to put her into her crib awake. She pulls to stand and cries until she falls over. Sometimes she bumps her head and gets really upset. Any suggestions?
