Just did same thing at my barn before Xmas. We had to run new wire to outlets. VariFlames, nothing but issues.

We never ran heat in our barns unless we were doing a clean out and then we would use a frost fighter. We did insulate our barns very well and even in -45c outside it would stay +20 inside
