I had a nursing professor say that nurses can’t go to medical school once… I’m not pre-med and I’m not going to but yes they can… you need a bachelors, MCAT score and pre-reqs. Nurses CAN do that

As a neuroscience major and Spanish major that’s pre-med I would love to be a nursing major but my school doesn’t offer it. I love neuroscience but I am an EMT so I get to do patient care!!

I’ve heard of so many nurses going to med school. I adore the nursing model and I think implementing a bit more of that for physicians would work wonders!

As an RN now going to the pre med track, I actually agree. It’s great for clinical experience or if you dont know if you wanna do medicine but if you know you wanna do medicine it’s kind of a waste

Yes!!!! I’m doing the same route and I have had to explain to everything that nursing is SO important to learn fundamentals about; a lot of doctors don’t provide the respect they deserve!!!
