No it doesn’t, the light rays are reflected by dust and particles in the atmosphere. Remove the clouds the sun is back to being 93 million miles away as always

some planes f🤔ly higher than the sun..the rays don't shine over that low patch of cloud...it's between 70 and 100 miles up🤔
