While I totally get that the girl is working hard, I think saying 'Ma, anong ulam?' in that way kinda misses the point. For a lot of teens, ang pagtatanong po ng ulam sa magulang natin or getting an allowance is actually a privilege, not something to be looked down on. Naiintindihan ko na ineencourage nya kaming mga kabataan na maging hardworking, but we also have to remember that teens shouldn't be made to feel bad for relying on their parents for support, hindi naman po kami tamad pero sa gantong edad may mga pinag fofocusan po dapat kami katulad ng pag aaral. Instead of pushing this idea na kaming mga kabataan should always be working like adults, ang mga kabataan po ay dapat na naka focus sa pag aaral para po hindi sila maka ranas ng stress sa murang edad. Please po wag natin inormalize ang child labour or hindi dapat na umasa ang mga bata sa magulang dahil po privilege yun nila/natin.

As a parent, my biggest flex is, my child do not need to work at an early age. That doesn't mean "pabigat" sya sa bahay. Focus sa studies at sa pag enjoy sa pagkabata as all children should.
