@lawbookgirl: Does your country do this too? This is what studying law in Germany looks like P.S. drink every time I say actually 🤦🏽♀️ #eurotok #lawdegree #studyinglaw #german
Why not just use the updated electronic version? Not sure what law students do here in Bulgaria but I know I can read any law I want with a quick search.

In Estonia, all laws are accessible on a government-managed website. It also includes local government regulations and all court rulings.

in Italy basically you have to keep buying the book almost every year to have it up to date

Here in Spain we can’t “edit” our law codes, instead we just buy the new regulation or we just simply search it on the official website of the country (BOE) or we put post its all over the book 😅😅

I'm almost certain Australia doesn't it do it this way, but I feel like it'd be so much easier to do it considering you wouldn't have to spend for a new book every year

That's so cool! In the Netherlands students have 2 bundles (one for justice and public law and one for civil law if I translated it correctly). We have to buy the newest edition each year.

Law student here: America has a different book for each type of law subject. To stay up to date you either have to buy a new book for each type of law or look it up online!

In Czechia we have separate books for civil code, criminal code, financial law etc and the price range is between 4-10€/book. so every time a new law is passed we have to buy a new book

Digitalisierung! looks like Git patch 😀 it is crazy that normal people expected to know ALL of that. otherwise we are playing by the rules we dont know.

Such a great system! In Turkey, laws are printed separately, and pages can’t be replaced. When there are small changes, I either edit the law myself or get a new copy.

why not just use a digital database, it’s so much more mobile, efficient and easier to update than a physical book system like this

This is so cool and genuinely so smart! I have friends that study law and basically they have to buy new books whenever laws are changed, or they’re printing them and adding on their old books

I studied criminology and we mostly used online. We had one book early on that had a breakdown of the main criminal legislation. You had to sign up to a email thing which would send updates

I've heard (take it with a grain of salt) that in France for example they have to get a new version of the whole book every now and again, instead of replacing individual pages.
