Fiat said if they were going to buy Ford they had to resign the 30 series tractors. Hence the Genesis lineup. First tractor with a solid full opening hood, no panels

In '78 FIAT bought half of FORD. And in the late 80's they took over the rest. Those you mention as genesis are FIAT tractors.

We have a 1997 Genesis tractor. It still has the original plastic on the seat. She’s been a great tractor and she’s part of the family.
