I try to think about how vintage styles were “on trend”. When looking at Edwardian rings, for ex, they have a whole era bc they were the trend etc. So ovals will have their “vintage” moment one day!

I just got an oval last year! At first I thought of getting something more unique but I'd wanted one for 10+ years and I don't know anybody else who has one anyway. I think it'll be the same with marquise - everywhere online but in person nah.
