@teaseats: ✨NEW VIBEY MEXICAN RESTAURANT IN SILVER LAKE, LA✨ We all know how rare it is to find a spot with gorgeous ambiance that also has good food — and this is one of them! Tacolina is a new addition to Los Angeles’ dining scene, coming from the group behind Santa Monica’s iconic Blue Plate restaurants and filling the former De Buena Planta space in Silver Lake. It’s fully outdoors and packed with plants, string lights, and quirky touches reminiscent of Baja California; and this feeling is extended into their farm to table, locally sourced food. In addition to tacos (my favorite was the Shrimp) and some larger format mains, Tacolina has some great options for appetizers and sides. I especially loved the Calamari Frito and the Loaded Purple Potato. Quite possibly my favorite thing here are their salsas. They have 8 different options, all made in-house, and I’d highly recommend getting a flight to try a bunch! Tacolina is open every day for dinner, plus weekend brunch. They’re also dog friendly, and they even have a hidden speakeasy next door called The Jaguar Room!
