![How to have an epic Harry Potter Vacation in Edinburgh. [SAVE] How to have an epic Harry Potter Vacation in and around Edinburgh 🪄🧙🏽♀️ 1. Victoria Street- the inspo for diagon ally! It’s right off the Royal Mile in Edinburgh. 2. Museum Context - on Victoria street. It’s a multi-story Harry Potter Merch store with tons of things I’ve never seen before. There’s always a line but worth a pop in since you’re already there! 3. The Elephant House - where JK sat and wrote many of her books. It was sold and turned into a different business but the inside burnt in a fire and is closed until further notice. You can still walk by the outside and it over looks Greyfriars Kirkyard (not a accident) 4. Greyfriars Kirkyard - where JK got some of her inspiration for names in the books like McGonagall/ Tom riddle/ etc. she would take breaks from writing at the Elephant House and wander through the graveyard. 👆🏼👆🏼👆🏼👆🏼 All of these can be done in one day and on a Harry Potter Walking Tour! (Google free Harry Potter walking tours Edinburgh) 5. The Cauldron - a 90 minute immersive potions making experience. While they can’t say it’s Harry Potter for Copy Right issues it’s pretty close 😉 and this was one of the funnest things I’ve done in a longgggggg time. Included in our ticket we had 3 drinks and you could buy drinks before and after 6. Alnwick Castle - they filmed the first 2 films here (remember the scene in the first movie where they were learning to fly? This is the exact courtyard!) and it was really to cool even if you don’t like Harry Potter. You can take a day tour to the castle with @haggistours 7. Glenfinnan Viaduct - the iconic location they used in the train scene from chamber of secrets when Ron and Harry steal the car. 8. Dumbledores grave - a quick stop on your way to the Glenfinnan Viaduct but worth a visit! So beautiful 😍 #harrypotter #harrypotterfan #harrypotterfilm](/video/cover/7272760167786188074.webp)
