Cool idea, but just doesn’t seem that it would hold up to use and weight. A lot of vertical pressure on horizontal woods screws.

great design! I don't know if I would trust deck screws in the legs though. I would probably use carriage bolts.

Nice work. Maybe router the cut exposed edges of the table and seats for a clean finished look. Other than that it's a great project.
