methylene blue decreases nitric oxide and causes systemic vasoconstriction and we use it as a last ditch effort to raise BP in the ICU. Idk why people are trying to take it at home.

You never once mention the fact that it is highly toxic. It can cause heart issues kidney damage and liver damage. You also don't mention the fact that it originally was a dye for dying cotton blue. And that it has a whole plethora of side effects.

I had to have IV methylene blue for Methemoglobinemia. It felt like battery acid going through my veins. It was HORRIBLE.
