How’s that one-paycheck dependency working out? 😱 Because if one employer can change your entire financial situation with one decision… maybe that “safe” paycheck isn’t as safe as you’ve been telling yourself. We were taught to: 👉Get the job. 👉Keep the job. 👉Be grateful for the paycheck. 👉Don’t take unnecessary risks. And for God’s sake, be realistic. The problem is, “realistic” has a way of becoming a ceiling. Keeping us average. Because the second you think about bigger: 🫸building another income stream, 🫸learning a new skill, 🫸starting something online, or 🫸creating options outside your 9-to-5… your brain immediately starts building the case for why you can’t. 🛑 🥺I’m too old. 🥺I’m not techy. 🥺I don’t know anything about business. 🥺What if I waste my money? 🥺What if I fail? 🥺Who the hell am I to think I could actually do this? And you call that being realistic. 💓💓But girl, sometimes you have to be a little delusional. In fact, you have to be a lot delusional. 💓💓 Somewhere along the way, adulthood taught us to trade our dreams for what was practical.🤦‍♀️ Maybe it’s time to start believing in what we want again, even before we know exactly how to get there. And sometimes, having the right people around you helps you see beyond the limitations you’ve been calling reality and move toward possibilities you hadn’t considered.👍 Because building another income stream isn’t just about making extra money. It’s about building the freedom to have choices in your life that one paycheck can’t give you.🥰 Maybe it’s time to get a LOT delusional about what you’re willing to consider your reality.
