flooding never works when training/socializing a dog. it only makes them more anxious. slowly working with them and building their confidence really helps, it has helped my dog tremendously

Also having a dog on a leash in an off leash dog park, is literally ASKING for a fight. And adds to the leashed dogs existing aggression.

Yeah exactly why my dog has had to be slowly re-socialized the right way because his old owner used dog parks then left him crated 12 hours a day otherwise 🙃

Yep, had an old lady who had a doodle(of course) who was basically dragging her to growl and bark at my dog (we were alone in the dog park playing fetch) and she had the nerve to glare at me like it

It’s okay to go to a dog park! I just think people as an owner need to be able to read body signals, know when to step in, and of course have your dog who should be trained

the problem is that the dog park is just design for your dog don't scape. But that's not really what dog parks need. I think for Ideal dog park, you need more than this, like agility games but +

I just have absolutely NO interest in going to dog parks anymore. It fill me with so much anxiety and I’ve seen enough fights broken up by everyone else BUT the owners. I’m bless to have 4 naturally-

Ppl always suggest I take my UN -NEUTERED 10m old lab pup … like NO we already are working on behavior at home with being bored. Plus no puppies from my puppy on my watch 🫡
