for those that say "truck driver don't have a choice, but to drive in whatever case", that's not true. first you can always call in sick, second you can always say it's not safe to go and you don't go

I turned round to my boss once and said I’m not driving in this weather, he said “well I’ll just have to send you home then” managers don’t care about the drivers as long as the job gets done

unfortunately us truckers don't have an option to stay at home . bosses don't care . they want money earned . we are just a number . wind ,rain snow etc etc we will be on the road .😢😁

Unless it's a red warning most companies will send trucks out . More needs done to help drivers because we are up against it and always easy to blame

DVLA, SENT MEMOS OUT NOT TO TIE CURTAINS BACK, a few years ago, as the wind was peeling off the aluminium roofs like sardine cans.

Almost got me coming south on the a68 at jedburgh and i was pulling a fridge... picked the back wheels up like it was nothing. couldnt get to my backload fast enough🤣

Video I saw elsewhere yesterday said this was near Inverness. Any company sending their Lorrie’s out yesterday should be hit with a massive fine to make it unviable for them to do it again.
