The space in Since Then is an understatement, even for their toilet and washing area. The cafe frame is industrial and open celling but connected with fine wood pillars installed with lights, few moss decoration around and dead branches. Plenty of natural light yet not hot. Nice beige furnitures, with minimalistic design spread throughout the place. Since Then menu is pretty varied and sizeable just like its space. It was a lot things covered from omurice, noodles, sharing plates, pokebowls, curry don and desserts. For drinks, they have your usual coffee, matcha, fruit juice and shaken tea series, their specialty. The Japanese omu rice, I had the original curry which isn’t spicy for those who can’t take spicy, the side namba chicken was the standout for its flavor despite doesn’t feel too crispy and good portion as well. The mini nori taco, salmon avocado was fresh and a good snack to have here. The nori wasn’t flaky and fragile, the avocado and salmon portion was generous. The coffee was on balance side, a good balance and cheap oat milk for milk wise to make it more nutty taste. But going with your meal together it doesn’t feel too jelak overall. The staff and service works pretty fast as well which is plus points for cafe and eatery. There are 4 parking slots within the cafe, the rest are your usual parking boxes outside.
