@bobpadron: Today a childhood dream came true: seeing a carabao (Filipino water buffalo) hard at work! Given the importance of the carabao in my family’s history - my great grandfather Vicente “Pirac” Padron was a travelling caribou salesman in Ilocos - I was sad when my aunt told me last summer that there are no carabao left in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte. Thankfully, there are still plenty of carabao in Palawan! #carabao #waterbuffalo #palawan #philippines
