I did this at work at a fancy tea shop for a long time and I can assure you the steam wand is absolutely fine You have to be extremely careful not to burn the matcha and bring out too much bitterness, but this is otherwise an excellent way to make matcha lattes

Why dont people just whisk it the traditional way. Makes for a much smoother better tasting drink, no clumps. Doesnt take away from taste either.

Matcha is so a scam, they put it in a hermetic container, inside a hermetic container, just to open it and put it in something not hermetic anymore. GG guys 👏👏

as long as you rinse the wand after use (letting it go on and off in a pitcher full of water) it won't create issues with the wand

ohh i do this at work, you should try using a whisk to whisk it together first before steaming. it makes it super creamy and not grainy
