Charlie :
Existentialism, at its deepest level, is the confrontation with the unsettling truth that consciousness has no inherent justification that you are aware, capable of questioning existence itself, yet there is no final answer waiting behind the question; reality does not explain you, and you cannot step outside of existence to verify its meaning, leaving you suspended between infinite possibility and inevitable death. In that space, freedom is not a gift but a weight, because every thought, value, and identity you hold is something you must continuously choose without absolute certainty, making you both the creator and the groundless foundation of your own being. The world does not validate your purpose, and yet you cannot escape the demand to live as if your choices matter, so existence becomes an act of defiance of shaping meaning in a universe that does not require it where your life is not defined by what is true in any ultimate sense, but by what you commit to as if it were true, knowing that this commitment is all that stands between you and the void.
