It’s a rather painless injury, watched a guy tear his mid route and he just looked over and shook his head cuz he knew he was done. When you touch the back of the ankle it’s squishy instead of hard😬

I tore mine almost 3 years ago and I cringe every time I see a video. Plan on at least 6mo to be walking “normally” and after that it’s all mental, just gotta get out of your own head.
