The room felt stuffier than usual this afternoon. Even though Jimin and I are in different friend groups, somehow today our friends decided to hang out in the same room. Since it’s a private area, the vibe was very relaxed and free. It was so relaxed that one of my friends, who easily gets hot, just took off his shirt without a second thought. For me and the others, it was a totally normal sight. He continued telling his story excitedly. As a good listener, I just paid attention, looking straight at him while he talked. But, in the middle of the chat, from the corner of my eye, I could feel an awkward tension. When I peeked a little, Jimin was sitting a bit far away on the corner of the bed. She wasn't laughing. Her face was flat, her lips in a slight pout, and her eyes were glaring sharply at me. She was completely silent, not joining the conversation at all. Knowing that we're still secretly dating, I knew she was trying so hard to hold herself back from exploding in front of the others. A few hours later, the room finally got quiet. Our friends went back to their own rooms, leaving just the two of us. Once the door closed and their footsteps faded, the room fell silent. I was just about to turn around to hug her, but her protest beat me to it.

Hearing her innocent, jealous protest, I immediately smirked. Oh my god. No matter how many times I see her jealous, she still makes me go crazy over how cute she is. Instead of feeling guilty, I actually wanted to laugh. She was jealous... just because of where I was looking. Instead of apologizing, I stepped forward slowly, locking my eyes on hers. Seeing me approaching with a teasing smile, Jimin's defense instantly crumbled. She stepped back slowly until her back hit the closet door. I didn't give her any room to escape. I placed one hand on the closet door right next to her head, while my other hand smoothly slipped around her waist. Jimin gasped a little. Her sharp eyes blinked nervously when she realized there was no distance left between us. "Well, he was telling a story, I couldn't just look away, right, hm?" I teased in a low voice. "Y-yeah, but... you were staring so intensely earlier," she squeaked, her voice shrinking. She looked down, not daring to meet my eyes, while her fingers nervously gripped the hem of my shirt. "I... didn't like it..." Hearing her overly honest confession, I couldn't hold back my smile anymore. My hand on her waist gently rubbed her back, trying to calm her down. "Okay, I'm sorry," I whispered softly. I leaned down a bit, tucking a stray hair behind her ear, then rested my forehead against hers. "But you need to know one thing. My eyes might have been looking that way, but guess where my focus was?" Jimin slowly looked up. Her round eyes looked at me hesitantly, blinking as the rest of her annoyance started to fade. "Where...?" I smiled faintly, affectionately rubbing the tip of my nose against hers. "On the corner of the bed. My focus was only on my girlfriend who had been pouting and holding back her jealousy the whole time," I teased as gently as possible. "Why would I bother paying attention to anyone else, hm? When all my focus is already taken by you." Jimin's body stiffened slightly. The blush on her face that had calmed down now spread all the way to her neck and ears. She was completely speechless, her breathing a bit heavy from being so flustered. Because she was too shy, she finally gave up.
